Election Day and News channels
Five news channels, and election day. You randomly zoom through them and guess what? They all show commercials or random fluff or simply crapola. But fear not. In between the commercials, fluff and crapola they sneak in some election coverage to fill in the gaps ;-)
Things are not much different with the local news, despite this being an election of significance in California. Half a dozen different local news are running in parallel and guess what? It's just commercials, crap, dogs and cats sneazing, the weatherman joking with the anchor, preview of the preview of the next story, and brief election coverage to fill in the gaps.
While this is not a political blog, here are some races of national interest:
Arnold's props in CA
Virginia governator race
Jersey governator: Corsine -vs- Forester
New York mayor: Bloomberg -vs- Ferrar
Rednecks attempting and probably winning a constitutional ammendment on same-sex marriage in Tx
