Foley's Folies

Yet another scandal exposes the "conservatives" once again. They raise hell when they deliver the high moral ground brim and firestone speeches, but in their down time they are busy cybering with the underage teens working for them. Ironically Foley was the CHAIRMAN, yes chairman, of the "Missing and Exploited Children's Caucaus" and in July introduced legislation to protect children from exploitation from adults on the net. Sounds familiar Mr Foley?

And in case you were wondering what a "PAGE" is in the House, here is the Wiki entry for it Page. Not to be confused with a page out of a book. Pages are HS juniors who essentially run all sorts of errands in the House of Representatives.

How happy is the Republican party to have this happen six weeks before elections just as the House and Senate are taking off for the Elections?

UFC Fighting: Closets full of aggression?

If you watched UFC (Ultimate Fighting) you may have observed that a lot of the positions the fighters find themselves in are very similar to male-to-male sexual positions. Very similar indeed. I am surprised that these allegedly macho straight men feel so comfortable in those situations. Which brings up the question: Are they closets full of aggression? :-)

A good reason to buy an LCD TV!

Great quote:

"If you live in a Manhattan apartment, the real-estate value of the space taken up by a fat traditional TV is worth far more than a huge flat screen," says Choi Gee Sung, Samsung's president in charge of TV and consumer digital gadgets.

Don't Cell and Drive!

Arnold signed into law effective July 1, 2008 banning the use of cell-phones without hands-free sets by motorists. A common-sense law since people failed to use common-sense when driving and talking on the phone.I personally witnessed quite a few near-misses simply because of distracted drivers (or even walkers) yapping into their cell-phones.

Drink more if you want to make more money!

A new study du jour says that drinking more leads to a bigger income. I wish I was a professor getting paid to count the number of drinks people have at the bar. What a great way to get tenure :-)

Great news for gay-friendly Senator

Gay-friendly Republican Senator Lincoln D. Chafee of Rhode Island won the primary today against a conversative republican by a 54-48% margin. Chaffee is one of only four Senators who openly support gay marriage, and the only republican at that.

Queer As Folk to debut on Logo later in September

Queer Ass Fags (ooops!) will make its debut on Logo on Thursday, September 21, 2006. Logo will broadcast two "new" episodes every week, running through the whole five seasons of the series. However beware - it will be edited because Logo is not Showtime; despite its TV-MA rating, expect some of the naughiest bits to be edited out...

There are no news as to whether Logo will also acquire the british version of QAF. They should :-)

And speaking of british and gay, there will be a one hour documentary next Saturday (Sept 9) on BBC America called "My husband is gay". You can guess what it's all about ;-)

Sneazy Productions Presents...

Following in the footsteps of Desperate Housewives and Footballer's Wives, Sneazy Productions is proud to announce the development of a new series called "Pinoy Thug Bfs", a gay-themed variation on that theme. Inquire within for more details ;-)

Music Fans only!

If you like modern music, especially british music, make sure you watch or record a new 30-minute show called "London Live" from INHD. Not because it is in HD, but because it features a variety of old and new artists performing live.

Factor Rating: Recommended!
